Woke lunacy plus indoctrination: You do the math
American students see their math scores plummet. Here's how we fix it.
Here at the 1776 Project PAC, we’re fresh off major victories in school board races across the country. We’re proud to say that nearly 60% of our school board candidates prevailed in November 7th elections.
Our candidates were victorious in 68 out of 118 school board races in battleground states across the country, including Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia.
The key wins include:
-Flipping the Matthews County school board in Virginia from liberal to conservative and keeping control in Virginia’s Bedford school district, which we flipped last year.
-Winning two seats on the Upper Perkiomen School Board in Pennsylvania, the second most heavily Democrat county in the state.
-Winning 36 out of our 37 school board races in York County, Pennsylvania.
-Flipping the South Western City school board in Franklin, Ohio to a 4-1 conservative majority.
This all shows that when students and parents stay informed, stay engaged, and stay strong, we can take on the indoctrination, the woke madness, and restore merit back into education.
And the stakes could not be higher. New numbers from standardized tests show a massive plummet among American students in mathematics, compared to other industrialized nations.
U.S. students saw a 13-point decline in their 2022 Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) math scores when compared to the 2018 exam.
And while the drop is being blamed largely on the pandemic and school closures, a major factor ignored by the left-wing extremists setting education policy in Washington is the departure from traditional education in favor of woke indoctrination.
And it doesn’t just affect math.
For example, we recently spotlighted the agenda items at the National Council of Teachers of English conference, which focused on subjects like:
“Queerness and graphic novels”
“Decolonizing the department”
“Using CRT…”
“Land acknowledgement that draws connection to genocide in Palestine.”
It’s why in district after district, we’re finding candidates ready to take on this madness and restore sanity back into the classroom.
Because if we don’t turn the tide, the reading and math scores are only going from bad to worse.
But with your help, we will continue to flip key school board races and give students a chance at a dignified education to learn actual skills, to embrace American patriotism, and to be equipped with the tools they need to find success in adulthood.
The work we’re doing is more important than ever. And your support matters more than ever.
And now, it’s time to move on to the next election cycle. Stay tuned.
