2021-2022 was a great cycle for 1776 Project PAC with over 100 wins across the nation. In 2023 we’re quickly approaching our first races with candidates in Illinois and Wisconsin. If you have friends or family living in any of these districts, please send them the link to this article and ask them to forward it to others in their community.
Masking Madness
In Illinois, parents, teachers, kids, and teens asked their school boards to stop requiring masks, and were ignored. Students were suffering, and few school board members and district or school administrators stood against it. Masks were socially and psychologically harmful, even Harvard has come out against the practice saying “Mask-wearing harmed children's social learning and interactions as well as their mental and emotional health.”
Parents started a revolution, but it takes everyone doing their part: registering to vote on time, reading up on local school board candidates, and making it out on election day. 1776 Project PAC endorsed strong candidates to replace incumbents who sat on their hands as students of all ages suffered for years.

1776 Project PAC in Wisconsin
The recent scandal shaking the Eau Claire School District in Wisconsin has the community demanding transparency, trust, and parental involvement in their children's education. Outrage follows the school board's controversial statement that parents must "earn" the right to access information about their children within the educational system, leading to a critical examination of the board's decision-making process.
1776 Project PAC has endorsed Frankie Bowie and Sally Huffey in Eau Claire County. The April 4th school board election's significance is paramount, as it allows the community to effect positive change and hold board members accountable. Parents, educators, and community members must unite to make their voices heard during this vital election and ensure the Eau Claire School District's future leadership prioritizes student well-being and family rights.

Women’s Rights Going Backwards
At a high school in the Catalina Foothills School District, the school board is refusing to review a policy that not only allows boys in girls bathrooms, but instructs girls to find another bathroom if they're uncomfortable with that. The school policy further states that parents will not be alerted if a male student who identified as transgender started sharing a locker room with their daughters. CFHS parents and community members have expressed frustration at the school district's unwillingness to reassess the policy, Jennifer Pershing, a mother of a junior at CFHS, told the Daily Caller that the policy is unacceptable and frankly horrifying.”
Even students themselves see the idiocracy in the policy, with one female student, Genon Thomas, telling Daily Caller that the school failed to inform her that she would have to share the bathroom or locker room with biologically male students, and called the policy the “dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.” It is quite striking that a nearly all female school board is making such horrible decisions about the safety of girls in locker rooms. Parents have a right to protect their child’s privacy.
April 4th marks a crucial day for Wisconsin and Illinois residents as they will have the opportunity to actively participate in shaping the future of their state. Furthermore, these elections are a pivotal moment for local education as voters have the chance to elect school board members who champion parental involvement and oppose Critical Race Theory. Spring elections are underway, stay tuned for upcoming 1776 Project PAC Texas endorsements.
